Matcha

Matcha belongs to the green tea family. The secret of its legendary effects lies in its special production process. Before harvesting, the tea bushes are shaded for a very long period of time. After harvesting, the tea leaves are dried and ground into a fine powder using granite stone mills.

The shade promotes the accumulation of secondary plant substances such as catechins, chlorophyll, and caffeine. The powdered form allows the tea leaves to be consumed whole, allowing the body to utilize the valuable plant substances even more effectively.

The effects of matcha are comparable to those of classic green tea, but at a higher concentration due to its excellent bioavailability.
